Prompt:
Using a variety of shots, tell the story of a character going from Point A to C, with
an obstacle at point B. The final film should be 2 minutes in length, with the
following parameters:
• You should use three separate locations for filming, though one space can
be used as three locations
• Give the character a specific want/need that is external
• Consider the character’s subtext—what’s the underlying emotion that is
motivating their emotion?
• Using a variety of shot choices, motivated by dramatic intent
• For homework next week, post an inspiring image for each idea
